To our Crafthouse family,
This announcement comes with many emotions, joy, gratefulness, great anticipation and sadness. After a great deal of soul searching, we have decided to close Crafthouse as a brick and mortar shop. We would like to announce that we have a buyer for the shop but we don’t. We are open to consider serious offers. However if no buyer is found we will be closing our doors soon.
We apologize for the use of a letter to deliver such heavy news. This type of news would be better in person and we wish that was possible. There are so many things we are grateful for over the past 5 years. Back in 2013 Allie designed a cozy boutique filled with curated fabric, yarns and maker products to tap an unfilled niche. A community grew immediately with her desire to be a part of lives. Many of you have been with us from the beginning and many of you we are just getting to know. There are many memories we will treasure. It’s been a joy to see so many of you learn how to sew, quilt, knit and crochet in our classes. You have made our events fun and the WIP NiTes have been filled with encouragement, great conversations and some of us actually finished projects -LOL.
We are sure you will have many questions and we'll try our best to answer them as time passes. There are many unknowns but for now we do have some housekeeping to take care of which might answer some of those questions.
Longarm Rental and Longarm Services
The Bernina Q24 longarm machine, frame and Qmatic system is for sale. If you, or if you know someone interested, contact us. Both longarm rental and services will be available until the machine is sold.
Thank you for making Crafthouse a beautiful community. Your support has been appreciated and we hope to see your smiling faces soon! We will pass along any new, additional information as things progress.
